Typography
Our two primary fonts are Gotham Rounded and Newsreader, each adding significance to our brand.
Newsreader is a serif font that exudes tradition and intellect. Gotham Rounded is a sans serif font that, with its rounded and geometric expression, adds a modern and entrepreneurial touch to our brand. The combination of the two provides a good balance between our old roots and innovative mindset.
We use Gotham Rounded in two different weights: Book and Medium. This font is used for headlines, tables, infographics, text links, buttons, and other navigation elements.
We use Newsreader in two different weights: Regular and Bold. Newsreader is our body text font, but we also use it for highlighted texts such as quotes. For subheadings/intros, you can decide from design to design whether Newsreader or Gotham Rounded provides the best overall expression.
Fallback font
In some cases, we can't use our two primary fonts. This is the case, for example, in emails and Microsoft Office documents. Fortunately, there is a solution. Instead, we use the email-safe font Arial, which is available in both Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
We use Arial Regular for body text and Arial Bold for headlines.
Line spacing
We aim to create a consistent visual expression across our brand materials. Therefore, we have defined rules for line spacing that should be used on all elements across media.
Headlines, subheadings, and highlighted text (e.g., quotes)
Text size x 1.2 = line spacing
Example: 60 pt x 1.2 = 72 pt
Body text, intro, and tables
Text size x 1.5 = line spacing
Example: 9.5 pt x 1.5 = 14.25 pt
Heading
Line spacing: Text size x 1.2
Introduction
Line spacing: Text size x 1.5
Body text
Line spacing: Text size x 1.5
Hierarchy
When using and combining different fonts in your design, it is important to create a strong hierarchy. There should be a clear difference in the size of the headline, subheading, intermediate heading, and body text, making the text easily accessible to the reader.
Below, you can see examples of how to create a strong hierarchy with your texts.
Text colours
Black and white are our primary text colours both online and offline.
Body text is always black or white, but we also use Deep Forest, Forest, Night Sky, and Sky for headlines on selected background colours.
You can find the rules for using coloured headlines in the next section.

Text on coloured backgrounds
Accessibility is a high priority for us, and therefore we have defined combinations of text and background colours for use across materials.
