Hedeselskabet's and Dalgas' image style is characterised by genuine and authentic images of nature – not polished and staged. Therefore, our images have natural colours and appear unedited. No artificial sunbeams or exaggerated colours.

We are partners with nature, and therefore our image style unites nature and people. We show how we work and surround ourselves with nature in a respectful way. Our images are simple in composition. Nature is wild in itself – it should have the space to be so. We focus on the primary subject and blur the foreground and background to make the story in the image clear.

Our image images focus on three main areas:

1. Working people in nature

This category focuses on how we work and surround ourselves with nature in a respectful way. Our mantra "use and protect" shines through. We have environmental images with storytelling as the primary purpose. We show expressive situations where a story unfolds in nature. In other images, we zoom in on how we work with nature. We get up close to people taking care of nature to demonstrate our professional approach and expertise.

2. Nature and insect life

We know that a respectful relationship with nature also means letting nature be as it is. To emphasise this insight, we show images of nature without people in this category. We show both uninhabited landscapes seen from a distance and flora and fauna seen up close. In macro images, we focus on the insect life that arises when nature lives under the right conditions.

3. Sustainable balance

We are building a sustainable future – with nature as a partner. We know that green work has more nuances than black and white. It's about creating the right balance between climate and economy. Therefore, our image style must encompass both environmental and business sustainability.

An image can contain one – or both – stories. Most importantly, we balance the amount of images with each story to ensure the right balance in our storytelling.
